Your Best Auto Insurance Quote

Getting the best car insurance quote can seem like an almost impossible mission that can only be completed only by spending hours sifting through a variety of insurance facts and figures and dealing with terms and conditions which often appear to have been designed to baffle and confuse.

Getting the cheapest car insurance can also sometimes seem practicality impossible too, with an entire world of car insurance quote experts out to get your money and all saying they are the cheapest. To get the coverage for your car at an inexpensive rate it is essential for you to shop around and not just rely on one individual or company to provide the best car insurance quote for you..

Finding an appropriate car insurance quote has a lot to do with where a person looks for it and a lot to do with the type of driving that takes place in the vehicle to be insured. As a car or vehicle owner, you will need to establish a variety of variables about your vehicle usage and take that information with you when you seek our your quote.

Getting car insurance cheaper may simply be a matter of using your car less on the road and perhaps, if appropriate, insuring it for only pleasure driving or limit the distance that you will drive your vehicle over the following year.

After establishing your vehicle’s possible usage, you can obtain car insurance quote from a dealer, a broker or direct with an insurance company. One of the best ways is to get your car insurance quotes online. This is because of the general simplicity of the forms and variety of sources for finding quotes online. There are a lot of options available to the consumer online and you can peruse them at your leisure without being pressured by pushy salespeople.

A good car insurance company will offer a variety of rates for their clients and will integrate the client usage information (such as the amount of miles driven per week/month/year and the types of travel undertaken) to create the best possible insurance package for the client.

Getting a good car insurance quote though, is as much about finding a quality car insurance company as it is about your car usage statistics. You need to be certain that in the event of a claim the company will pay the claim and not use the policy smallprint to invalidate your cover.

Remember that the companies you will be dealing with will be trying to compete to be your car insurance company, so don’t be afraid to get as many quotes as possible before settling on a particular car insurance quote.

While shopping for a car insurance quote, it is important to keep in mind that car insurance companies rely on their consumers and the usage details provided. If you provide inaccurate pertinent or relavant information then, in the event of a claim, your insurance can be voided and the insurance company may well refuse to pay your claim.

Car insurance companies are in the business to supply people like you with insurance, but only because they know it will return them a profit. As a result the competition in rates is very strong between companies with the desire to obtain customers driving costs down but the need for profits pushing the premiums up. The opportunity for you, the consumer, to save a considerable amount of money in this competitive climate is greater than ever.

Why can’t I get a decent car insurance premium?

I am a 27 year old male with no points on my licence, its been six years since any kind of accident, I have never been pulled over and given a ticket in my life. It seems that no matter what kind of car or what location Im in I can not get a good car insuarance rate. At one point I was paying over $4000 a year. I recently did an inquiry to see what it would cost to insure a 99 toyota tercell with an alarm, various anti-theft devices and in a state that is known for having lower cost insurance, plus it would only be for work and less than 10,000 miles a year in driving. I was quoted $209 a month! Other than one accident 6 years ago, I have a spotless driving record, why are my insurance costs so crazy?
Thanks for all the help everyone, but I forgot to mention that the $209 is just for liability with a $2000 deductible. This is with many different Ins companies. I think I am just unlucky.

have you kept continuous coverage, if not, that can raise your premiums. Also, I heard somewhere that insurance rates don’t drop for a guy until 30. Sorry!

Decent looking vehicle, good gas mileage, low car insurance? &Where to find good car insurance rates??

I filled out a couple quotes from esurance.com and allstate and i got like $2100 & $4100 premium 6 month payment. Does that mean its going to cost me that much for insurance for only 6 months? If so, that is insane. That would be $350-$750 dollars a month. That cannot be real. My dad gave me a quote from Allstate(thats what he has) and it was about $117.00/Mth for a Chevy Blazer for 18 Year Old First Driver. I am very new to the whole insurance thing so can someone just point me in a small direction to the lowest priced insurance with good plans. I would absolutely love to have an older car(oldsmobile, or between 60s&80s)But thats way to pricy, along with a nice sports vehicle. Because of the gas mileage and decent look, i would like a Chevy Convert Tracker. Just give me some advice if you know what im talking about. :)
Thanks Much

Excuse me for the mistake above. My fathers quote was from State farm(thats what he has).

Your father should put you on his insurance, and you pay him,you will both win with this situation if multiple vehicles are on the same contract…. that’s why the rate he gave you was so much cheaper. if your making payments on the vehicle, your creditor is probably requesting you get full coverge, which is why it’s so expensive for someone your age, if you own the vehicle out right, just get the minimum state requirements( Ca. is PL/PD )..you can also try progressive insurance, takes almost no time for a quote and they are open nearly 24/7…good luck.

What is the best way to new car at a low cost price?

Well theft would insure the lowest price… However, when you figure in attourney’s fees, jail time… loss of future income due to being convicted of a felony…

The second best way would be to do research on the actual dealer’s COST of the car, and figure out what model you want with what options, and figure a reasonable profit for the car (you can usually get a dealer to make about $500-$1000 on a car if you act like you know what you are doing, instead of the more typical 8-10% that they will make). This only works for cars that are not in high demand. If there are a lot of buyers and a limited supply, you will pay at least sticker price…

so:
1. Pick a good car that is widely available
2. Know exactly what options you want, and don’t buy things you don’t want, as it inflates the price.
3. Know the dealer’s cost off of cars.com or yahoo cars or other websites.
4. Negotiate a fair profit for the dealer.
5. Don’t lease.
6. Don’t talk payments/interest rate until you agree upon the price.
7. Don’t let them do things like "rustproofing" and "stain protection" They don’t work and they charge hundreds of dollars for a few minutes of spraying things out of a can.
8. Be pleasant but firm, and feel free to terminate the conversation if you do not think that they are playing fair with you.

Good luck, and good hunting…

What’s a low cost yet good car insurance co in California(northern)?

I have a gas hog and I am trying to lower my bills since
the economy slump and I am trying to find if my car insurance
is high and if I should switch and to who I pay every six months
681.00.Thanks in advance.

Hi! I used to run a Body shop in Northern California (Alameda & Contra Costa County) and I always found the same insurance companies easy to work with from a reapair point of view, were State Farm, Progressive, Liberty Mutual, Geico and Farmers. Insurance holds true to the "You get what you pay for" I always found the hardest Insurance company to deal with was Allstate (never wanting to replace your car parts with new ones, only used and aftermarket – that never fit). Hope this helps!

Good, Cheap, Low Insurance Cost, 1st car for a 19 Year Old?

Should be taking my driving test very soon.
Ive looked at cars i would like to have. But obviously the insurance is much to high.

Any body got any good ideas which would be a good car for me?
can pay up to £2000 for the car. because I’m not paying for it. all i have to fund is the insurance.

So any low insurance cars around?

I’m 17 and drive a Land Rover Defender, my insurance is £320 a year because my dad is the policy holder and i’m an additional driver, my insurance for me without my dad as policy holder would be about £4000. £320 is good considering it’s a £30 000 2.5 litre monster. Try getting your parents to do that for you.

As for cars, something small like a Clio or 207, go for a diesel because the running costs are cheaper and they are usually cheaper to insure as well.

How much does car insurance cost each month and what are the low cost and good car insurances around?

And how much can 1 gallon of gas take you on an average car? I mean how many blocks and 1 gallon of gas takes you? What other things you have to pay for having a car?
What about on average?
How much do you spend on car repairs on average each month/year?

A middle aged person with 5 years no claim bonus living in the country on a corolla should pay about $50 for liability only. Maybe $80 for fully comprehensive.
The best insurance price can be found by checking out the comparison sites, this is a good one http://best-american-insurers-free-comparison.servicesarticles.com/a/1.html?id=d339 and also http://www.bestinternetfind.solutionsarticles.com/carquote.php?id=89eh
those two will return quotes from all the main US insurers.
A mustang might do 20 highway miles with a gallon, a lowly corolla should do double that.
In town consumption might be about 20% less for both vehicles.
As per car repairs, it depends on the car, who is driving it and how they are driving it.
Some people are always paying money, some others seem to get away without ever spending much.
