I filled out a couple quotes from esurance.com and allstate and i got like $2100 & $4100 premium 6 month payment. Does that mean its going to cost me that much for insurance for only 6 months? If so, that is insane. That would be $350-$750 dollars a month. That cannot be real. My dad gave me a quote from Allstate(thats what he has) and it was about $117.00/Mth for a Chevy Blazer for 18 Year Old First Driver. I am very new to the whole insurance thing so can someone just point me in a small direction to the lowest priced insurance with good plans. I would absolutely love to have an older car(oldsmobile, or between 60s&80s)But thats way to pricy, along with a nice sports vehicle. Because of the gas mileage and decent look, i would like a Chevy Convert Tracker. Just give me some advice if you know what im talking about. ![]()
Thanks Much

Excuse me for the mistake above. My fathers quote was from State farm(thats what he has).
Your father should put you on his insurance, and you pay him,you will both win with this situation if multiple vehicles are on the same contract…. that’s why the rate he gave you was so much cheaper. if your making payments on the vehicle, your creditor is probably requesting you get full coverge, which is why it’s so expensive for someone your age, if you own the vehicle out right, just get the minimum state requirements( Ca. is PL/PD )..you can also try progressive insurance, takes almost no time for a quote and they are open nearly 24/7…good luck.
I’m buying a new home and changing my auto insurance carrier, what insurance company can offer me the best deal when it comes to providing both home and auto insurance in a combo package?
I use State Farm and have for a long time. They aren’t the cheapest, but have handled any claims without question and treated me very well. Good luck.
1.What is the best way to buy a new car at a very cheap price?

Please,if possible provide answer to the question above with a website reference/link.

Well theft would insure the lowest price… However, when you figure in attourney’s fees, jail time… loss of future income due to being convicted of a felony…
The second best way would be to do research on the actual dealer’s COST of the car, and figure out what model you want with what options, and figure a reasonable profit for the car (you can usually get a dealer to make about $500-$1000 on a car if you act like you know what you are doing, instead of the more typical 8-10% that they will make). This only works for cars that are not in high demand. If there are a lot of buyers and a limited supply, you will pay at least sticker price…
so:
1. Pick a good car that is widely available
2. Know exactly what options you want, and don’t buy things you don’t want, as it inflates the price.
3. Know the dealer’s cost off of cars.com or yahoo cars or other websites.
4. Negotiate a fair profit for the dealer.
5. Don’t lease.
6. Don’t talk payments/interest rate until you agree upon the price.
7. Don’t let them do things like "rustproofing" and "stain protection" They don’t work and they charge hundreds of dollars for a few minutes of spraying things out of a can.
8. Be pleasant but firm, and feel free to terminate the conversation if you do not think that they are playing fair with you.
Good luck, and good hunting…

I want to start selling auto insurance in Texas. Where can I get my insurance license?
I agree, your going to need to have someone sponsor you. Good Luck with it!!
We live in Florida, and my son has just turned 16, He wants to get his licenses but we don’t want our insurance to go up too much. From what I hear it is very expensive, yet i hear other people saying that some auto insurance company’s have very cheap rates for adding a first time driver. So if there are any other parents that know of a company that they use that is pretty cheap please let me know.
Thank you.
Yes we are planing on "adding" him to our plan.
I recommend you locate a local car insurance agent to help. Since I live in Kentucky I can’t suggest an agent in Florida, but here is an website that can help you. http://www.easyautoinsuranceguide.com/Florida-Car-Insurance.html
